Health Records Storage & Teleradiology

Clients of docQLink can be fully confident that all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations and rules are complied with and monitored on a daily basis.

Physical records are converted to electronic data and delivered to destination via DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) encryption through a secure VPN (Virtual Private Network).

All online record requests and communications are processed through secure certificate encryption and stored securely.

Transmitted films are received without data loss even in a compressed file format.

Medical records and/or film loss by a patient or other medical facilities are eliminated by a CD created specifically for the patients’ use.

There are several very strong advantages to utilizing this service:

  • Immediate availability of films ensures faster patient service.
  • 45 minute electronic delivery is guaranteed.
  • There are no “Start up” costs associated with the conversion to digital.
  • By completely removing the film library from your grounds and eliminating the number of people involved it greatly assists you in your HIPAA compliance and reduces manpower expenses.
  • All transmissions are made via DICOM.
  • A limited on site film library will create additional user floor space.
  • 24-hour emergency service, always available.
